The soggy national capital region gets more time to dry out Thursday as forecasters there’s no rain in sight for about 24 hours.
The day is expected to be a mix of sun and cloud, breezy and as high of 13 C, with a UV index of 7, or high.
Thursday night is expected to be mainly cloudy, with the wind getting a bit more tame, and a of 6 C.
Friday brings the clouds, with a 40-per-cent chance of showers in the afternoon. The high should be around 16 C.
The evening is forecast to see cloudy periods with a low of 9 C.
Saturday sees more clouds on the horizon, with a 60-per-cent chance of showers and a high of 15.
The showers are expected to continue through the evening, with a low of 7.
Showers are expected again Sunday, with a high of 14, low of 6.
So far, there is no mention of significant rainfall.
Monday should be warmner with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 19.
And the sun finally appears for good Tuesday and Wednesday, when the temps should crawl into the 20s.
