A 40-year-old male cyclist was rushed to The Ottawa Hospital trauma centre on Wednesday afternoon after he was struck by a vehicle.
An Ottawa paramedics spokesperson confirmed the accident happened at 3:30 p.m. at the corner of Albert and Slater streets.
The victim was unconscious for three minutes before he was transported by ambulance on high priority to the hospital.
