With the long weekend upon us, we require volunteers at all of our locations to help with sandbag removal. Volunteers ages 16 and over are needed to move sandbags from residential properties to the sides of the roads to help those residents impacted by the recent floods.
If you are able to help, you can arrive onsite at any of the listed locations to report for a shift within the hours of operation.
If the volunteer capacity has been reached, we will alert you on the City of Ottawa’s Twitter and Facebook pages. You do not need to have a Twitter or Facebook account to access these pages.
If capacity has been reached at one location, you are welcome to come later in the day or to assist at one of the other locations. We will be reviewing the need continuously throughout the weekend.
