Transport Canada has dispatched investigators to the Arnprior airport after an apparent mechanical malfunction on a plane led to a rough landing for three people aboard.
According to reports, the plane was attempting to land at the airport when the landing gear apparently malfunctioned, causing the plane to tip and hit the ground nose-first, as the propellers to grind against the tarmac.
There were no injuries, but the aircraft appeared to have extensive damage.
A spokeswoman for Transport Canada said the Transportation Safety Board dispatches investigators to the scene of all anomalies involving aircraft.
Investigators will confirm the cause of the issue and determine whether a more in-depth investigation into the incident is warranted.
