The National Capital Commission is warning local residents that the westbound lane of the Queen Elizabeth Driveway, between Third and Fourth avenues, will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday due to construction.
The NCC said flag persons will control traffic in both directions on the open lane of the Queen Elizabeth Driveway and anyone using the roadway should expect delays.
The road is being closed to allow for the installation of a crane that is needed for construction work along the driveway.
Some roads around the closure will also be affected. Residents are asked to find alternative routes during the affected hours.
