A 41-year-old Ottawa man has been charged with offences related to child pornography.
Reports from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children’s CyberTipLine were forwarded to the Ottawa Police Service Internet child exploitation unit from March to May of this year. A total of nine reports indicated that several IP addresses from the Ottawa area had uploaded images of child pornography, a police news release stated.
On Thursday, police searched a home on Centrum Boulevard, where they found CDs and electronic devices that had images of child pornography.
Darren Partsch was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.
He is to appear in court on Friday.
