Ready for some hot fun in the summertime?

The weather office is predicting some sun and lots of warm temperatures for the weekend.

For Friday, expect a mix of sun and cloud, a 30-per-cent chance of afternoon showers with the risk of a thunderstorm and a high of 25 C.

Saturday is forecast to feature a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 27 C that will feel like 32 with the humidex factored in.

After an overnight low of 21 C, Sunday will reach 29 C under a mix of sunny and cloudy skies with a 30-per-cent chance of showers.

The Friday commute is heating up too with a collision blocking a lane of Hwy. 417 eastbound at Carling Avenue and street lights out in Gatineau due to a power outage.

Monday is another hot one with a forecast mix of sun and cloud, 30-per-cent chance of showers and a high of 30 C.

Then things start to look damper, with temperatures in the high 20s with a risk of showers every day through Thursday.
