It’s summer in the city with the capital waking to 22 C that felt more like 28 under the Humidex grill, with a scorching UV of 9 or very high and the risk of a thunderstorm.

Throw open your windows overnight with a forecast low of 10 C.

Wednesday is expected to be cooler with sunshine and a high of 22 C.
