The mix of weather didn’t slow the cars from flying as the racers ripped around the track at the Red Bull Global Rallycross that made it’s first Canadian stop over the weekend.
The doubleheader event running both Saturday and Sunday transformed the grounds of the Canada Aviation and Space Museum into a rallycross playground. A gravel track that included tight turns and a jump was lined with fencing to keep spectators safe as they watched trackside.

On Saturday, Canada’s own Steve Arpin was the first repeat winner of the 2017 Red Bull Global Rallycross season in the Supercar division. In the GRC Lites class Cyril Raymond took the title.

In Sunday’s second round of the doubleheader, Tanner Foust won the Supercar division, followed by Scott Speed and Mitchell deJong. Arpin was out after the first lap.
In the GRC Lites class, Cyril Raymond repeated his Saturday victory, followed by Travis PeCoy and Alex Keyes.
