各位，请问现在申请美国签证是一次，还是多次。有效期多久？（以前在渥太华我的朋友办的是10年有效签证）
朋友在美国纽约，想让我们圣诞节去玩。她会发邀请函，还有我有工作在渥太华，我们家在这里也买了房子。请问如何办理？费用多少？谢谢

if you are P.R. you will get 10 years visa. book the interview online and prepare all the document they require.

B1 needs an invitation letter from the peer.

B2 Visa not necessary to be 10 years for anybody, I saw people got a 1-month visa.

3-month or 6-month is the usual case you can expect.

50% reject is also expected.

you can choose any date which is available from the web.

You must attend the interview on that day and you can get the visa in the afternoon (the same day) if granted.

If you are PR, but no job, hard to get visa. If you are PR and student, then 6 month multiple. My friend got that.
