Ottawa police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify a suspect involved in a break-and-enter at a Kanata fast-food restaurant.
According to police, at some point overnight between June 6 and June 7, a man forced his way into the unidentified restaurant, near the intersection of Eagleson Road and Michael Cowpland Drive. He forced the door open, then proceeded to steal various items before fleeing.
Police did not specify what was stolen.
The man is described as Caucasian, approximately five feet six inches (168cm) tall, weighing 140 pounds (64 kg) and was clean-shaven when last seen.
Anyone with information is asked to call Ottawa police at 613-236-1222, ext. 2655. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477.
