Boy, 13, in critical condition after paramedics called to pool in Orléans

A 13-year-old boy was taken to hospital in critical condition on Saturday evening after Ottawa paramedics were called to a residential pool in Orléans.

Paramedics received a call at 6:07 and said in a tweet they found the boy in cardiac arrest in the pool. Family members had initiated CPR, the tweet said.

Paramedics said they started aggressive resuscitation before the patient was transported to hospital.
