Ottawa police say one of their officers has caught and arrested a man as he was committing a sexual assault.
Police say the man was assaulting a 39-year-old woman about 7 a.m. Sunday morning near Rideau Street and King Edward Avenue. The woman was taken to hospital.
Marc Touchette, 53, has been charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm.
