The Canada 150 traffic madness has officially begun downtown.
Westbound Wellington Street closed Tuesday early between Bank and O’Connor streets until next Tuesday. The westbound stretch is set to close at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
And Wednesday, southbound Elgin Street closes from Wellington Street to Queen Street. Motorists will also be banned from using the Wellington Street turning lane, from MacKenzie Avenue to southbound Elgin Street.
Buses for OC Transport and the STO have already begun their detours, so check ahead.
