Stop us if you’ve heard this before.

There’s rain on the way. There are possible thunderstorms in the forecast. The clouds are coming.

At least the temperatures are expected to warm up today, with a forecast high of 23 C, slightly humid and a UV reading of 8, or very high.

Wednesday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a 60-per-cent chance of showers and, yes, risk of a thunderstorm or two. The low should drop to 13 C.

Thursday looks much the same, showers, T-storms, and chillier, with a forecast high of just 19 C.

Thursday night looks like 60-per-cent chance of rain, T-storms possible and a low of 18.

Friday looks slightly better, at least temperature wise. The chance of showers is just 40-per-cent and the high is expected to be 25 C.

The outlook for Canada Day is warmer still, with a high of 27 C, so the 40-per-cent chance of showers might be welcome to cool off those out and about.

For the fireworks display Saturday evening, it looks like some cloud rolling in, a 40-per-cent chance of showers and a low of 17 C.
