u don't hvae other choices, his exam is differ from semester to semester, unless u can predict waht he gonna have on midterm, the only choice is to memorize everything.During my first year, I just studied for his notes ( and u all should know Koppel's notes are very confusing) for midterm, didn't read the book so much, and my midterm marks was really bad. So i basically memorized all the important stuff from the book for my final, and i did pretty well. For this course, there is really no other shortcut for a good mark. And sometimes, he tests u on waht he said in the class, and u can't find it either on his notes or the book. I am pretty sure no matter what Prof u have for this course, Kopple will be the one who set the midterms.
