If you’ve been following the meteorological events for the last few days, and who hasn’t, this forecast will sound eerily familiar.

Environment Canada is calling for showers Thursday morning, tapering to a chance of showers Thursday afternoon and evening, and a risk of thunderstorms later on.

The high is forecast at a miserable 19 C, and a moderate UV index of 3.

Big changes Friday!

Sun and cloud in the morning.

Then, a 60-per-cent chance of showers late in the morning and in the afternoon with risk of a thunderstorm. The wind should be picking up later in the afternoon, gusting to 40 km/h and higher and the high is expected to be a scorchy 26 C, registering 34 on the humidex.

Friday night looks a 60-per-cent chance of showers, with a low of 17 C.

That’s right. No mention of T-storms. Yet.

Canada Day is expected to be a mixture of sun and cloud all day with a 40-per-cent chance of showers and a high of 27 C.

Saturday night looks like cloudy periods with a 40-per-cent chance of showers and a low of 17 C.

The sun-and-cloud mix looks to be in the forecast through to Wednesday, with highs in 25-26 C range and lows around 14 C or 15 C.
