Gatineau police have finished an investigation into a fatal crash between a car and motorcycle on June 8 by deciding not to lay charges.
A 51-year-old woman was killed when her motorcycle was struck head-on by a car on Lorrain Boulevard around 5:20 a.m.
Police said a northbound car driven by a 19-year-old woman crossed into the southbound lanes and struck the motorcycle.
Police have now announced that “no criminal offence occurred,” and that the car driver was not impaired or speeding and had not been using a cellphone.
