Yes, there’s going to be rain Friday, and most likely a thunderstorm or two.

Worse still, for many, is that it looks like the same forecast for the foreseeable future.

Friday’s outlook is mainly cloudy, with a 60-per-cent chance of showers this afternoon with a risk of thunderstorms.

Adding insult to injury, the humidity is expected to be stifling, with a high of 23 C bumped up to 32 on the humidex. The UV rating is expected to be 7 or high.

Showers and T-storms are expected to continue through this evening and tonight, with a low of 18.

Canada Day meanwhile looks like showers in the morning, risk of T-storms in the afternoon, with a high of 24 C, feeling like 32 because of the humidity.

The outlook is the same for Saturday evening, with a 60-per-cent chance of showers or thunderstorms and a low of 15 C.

On Sunday, the chance of rain diminishes to 30 per cent, with a high of 25 C. Sunday night might be clear, with a low of 14 C.

As for the holiday Monday, a mix of sun and clouds and 30-per-cent chance of showers and a high of 25 C, dropping to a low of 12 C.
