Second west Ottawa stabbing of the day leaves man with non-life-threatening injuries

A man suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening when he was stabbed on Tavistock Road on Tuesday — the second stabbing to take place within an hour-and-a-half in the western part of Ottawa.

At approximately 4:54 p.m., police were investigating the incident and one man was arrested. Police have not released any further information.

A 17-year-old boy was stabbed around 3 p.m. on Falcon Brook Road in Carp and was transported to the hospital in stable condition, an Ottawa police tweet stated. A 17-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the incident, a second tweet said.
