Provincial police and other agencies were continuing a search Wednesday for a Toronto high school student who is presumed drowned on a field trip to Algonquin Park.
The boy, 15, was reported missing Tuesday night.
OPP said the teen was swimming at Big Trout Lake and went under the water and did not resurface.
Search specialists and other agencies grouped at the park’s west gate Wednesday to continue to look for the boy.
Three dozen students arrived on the trip Sunday and were to return Friday.
But media reports indicate the board said the remaining students will cut their trip short and portage out of the park to return home.
