One man was in critical condition following a rollover on Highway 417 at Woodroffe Avenue on Sunday at noon.
Two vehicles with single occupants were involved in the crash, and the second man, 41, was in serious condition, Ottawa paramedics said.
The driver of the car that rolled “multiple times”, according to Ottawa Fire Services, was critical and in unstable condition with multi-system trauma, paramedics said. Both drivers were taken to the Ottawa Trauma Centre.
The other driver, suffering a spinal injury, had to be completely immobilized before being transported. He was listed in serious but stable condition.
All westbound lanes of the 417 at Woodroffe were closed as of 1 p.m.
