Ramp closure, lane reductions of 417 today – and watch for deer on back roads

Lots of potential traffic snarls out there today – some of them cute.

The city’s traffic centre is warning that the ramp that leads from March Road westbound to Hwy. 417 eastbound is closed for construction until 7 p.m. The highway is also reduced to one lane in each direction at March Road.

The eastbound Hwy. 417 is reduced to one lane between Anderson and Rockdale roads until 2:30 p.m. for more construction.

Taking back roads to avoid the snarls? Watch for deer like the adorable fawn tweeted by one area resident.
