Body pulled out of the water at Jacques Cartier Park

A body was pulled from the Ottawa River at Jacques Cartier Park on Wednesday.

Gatineau police said they were called by Ottawa police around 4 p.m. Ottawa police told them about the body, which was near the Alexandra Bridge.

Around the same time, Ottawa paramedics were called.

Gatineau police have the body, paramedics said.
