Finally, some sun.
After a string of depressingly rainy days, Ottawa should finally feel the heat on Saturday. Environment Canada is predicting a toasty high of 28 C with sunshine and a UV index of 8, or very high.
A few clouds are expected to roll in at night, and the low should dip to 16 C.
Unfortunately, the sunshine won’t stick around for Sunday (so bring your ponchos if you’re heading to Bluesfest!).
The weather agency forecasted a high of 26 C with a mix of sun and clouds, and a 40-per-cent chance of showers in the afternoon with a risk of a thunderstorm.
At night, more clouds move in, and there’s a 60-per-cent chance of showers with a low of 16 C.
