Not to be a killjoy, but for all those still basking in the afterglow of Tuesday’s sunny, warm day, get over it.
The clouds, the showers, the T-storms, they’re back.
Wednesday looks like a familiar scenario, increasing cloudiness through the day with a 40-per-cent chance of showers this afternoon and a risk of a thunderstorm or two.
The high is expected to be about 28 C, feeling like 34 with the humidity and a UV index of 7, or high.
Cluds are expected to continue Wednesday night, again with a 40-per-cent chance of showers early in the evening and thunderstorms a possibility.
The low should be about 16 C, comfortable for sleeping.
That forecast is repeated with dismaying regularity for Thursday and Friday.
But wait!
This may be a meteorological glitch or a computer error, but Saturday so far appears to be cloud-free. With a high near 27 C.
But guess what it looks like for Sunday on to Tuesday …
