Gatineau police have arrested three men in connection with a serious assault a week ago which has left two victims in hospital.
The incident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. last Wednesday when two groups of men met near the intersection of Avenue des Entreprises and Boulevard des Affaires, a business park near Labrosse Boulevard in the city’s east end.
There was a “confrontation” between the two groups, who knew each other.
Two men were left with serious injuries, police said.
Police did not disclose the nature of the meeting or the identities of the victims.
On Tuesday, officers arrested Yannick Lamothe and Sylvain Trépanier, charging them with aggravated assault and armed assault.
The third suspect, Patrick Fisher-Lapensée, was arrested Wednesday morning and faces the same charges.
Police are still looking for any witnesses or people with information in the attack.
