Weekend road work will impact traffic

Planned road work will impact traffic as follows:

• Baseline Road – Lane reductions will begin tonight, July 21 at 7 p.m. until Monday, July 24 at 6 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of Baseline Road between Morley Boulevard and Prince of Wales Drive to facilitate the installation of a new watermain. Traffic delays are expected for vehicles travelling eastbound on Baseline Road through the Prince of Wales Drive intersection.
  
• Prince of Wales Drive – Prince of Wales Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Hunt Club Road and Deakin Street beginning Friday, July 21 at 7 p.m. until Monday, July 24 at 5 a.m. Construction will include overnight work.

Special events on weekends can sometimes impact traffic as well. This weekend, motorists should plan their travels with the following in mind:

• As part of NOKIA Sunday Bike Days, the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway, Colonel By Drive and Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway will be closed to motorists this Sunday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
