Ontario Provincial Police were kept busy Friday morning responding to two different accidents involving tractor trailers that ran off the road.
The first crash occurred on Highway 401 eastbound near the entrance to Highway 416, where a tractor trailer had gone into the ditch.
Highway 401 had to be closed in order to allow emergency crews to pull the truck back onto the road and haul it away. No further details regarding the crash are available.
A similar situation occurred near the intersection of County Road 17 and Boundary Road.
Police responded and found another tractor trailer in the ditch.
There were no reports of injuries. The investigations continue.
