Will a month of rain go out with a torrent?

It’s the last day of what could be the wettest July on record and the forecast features a 30 per cent chance of afternoon showers and the risk of a thunderstorm. The expected high is 27 C and low 14 C.

Environment Canada predicts that Tuesday will be dry with a sunny high of 30 C that will feel more like 35.

Then the clouds roll back in with a chance of showers every day into the weekend.

Wednesday is expected to be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers, high of 30 C and low of 17 C.

Thursday and Friday are forecast to feature a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers, a high of 27 C and low of 18 C.

Saturday is cooler with a high of 22 C, a mix of sun and cloud and 30 per cent chance of showers.

For Sunday, expect a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 22 C.
