Road closures for Casino du Lac Leamy fireworks

Casino du Lac Leamy’s Sound of Light fireworks show returns Saturday night and and four other dates in August (Aug. 9, 12, 16 and 19).

A number of streets in Gatineau’s Hull sector will be closed in the evening during the dates of the show and the Alexandra Bridge will be also closed to cars and pedestrians on show nights.

The road closings are:

• From 9 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. the following roads will be closed
  – Laurier Street, between les boulevards Maisonneuve and Sacré-Coeur
  – Victoria Street, between Notre-Dame-de-l’Île Street and Laurier Street
  – Papineau Street, between Notre-Dame-de-l’Île Street and Laurier Street
  – Élisabeth-Bruyère Street, between Notre-Dame-de-l’Île Street and Laurier Street
  – Boulevard des Allumettières, between Maisonneuve Boulevard and Laurier Street
  – Saint-Étienne Street, between Notre-Dame-de-l’Île Street and Laurier Street
  – de Verdun Street, between Notre-Dame-de-l’Île Street and Laurier Street
  – Notre-Dame-de-l’Île Street, between Élisabeth-Bruyère street and des Allumettières Boulevard
  – Champlain Street, between Élisabeth-Bruyère Street and des Allumettières Boulevard
  – l’Hôtel-de-Ville Street, between Laurier Street and la promenade du Portage
• Alexandra Bridge will be closed to pedestrians between 8:30 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.

• Alexandra Bridge will be closed to cars between 8:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
