Police are appealing to the public for help in solving a “serious assault” in a Vanier apartment in July.
Police released few details, but said they were called to a “disturbance” at an apartment building on Selkirk Street around 11 p.m. on July 18.
They found a 53-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries after the assault. He was treated on scene and in hospital, where police said he remains in stable condition.
The man’s identity was not released.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Central Criminal Investigation unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5166.
