It’s Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation night at Lansdowne Thursday and a pair of mammoth CC-130 Hercules transport aircraft are to lumber over the stadium right after the singing of the national anthem, at about 7:30 p.m.
Military personnel will also be entitled to various discounts on food, drink and other merch.
Past flyovers by craft such as the loud, fast-moving CF-18s have surprised some patrons, and drawn complaints from the stadium’s neighbours in the Glebe.
