Ontario Provincial Police officers have laid charges against a 37-year-old woman from Pembroke after she was involved in a crash that sent a Carp man to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to police, a motorcycle and a car collided on Tuesday around 12:38 p.m. on Highway 60 near the township of North Algona Wilberforce.
The 60-year-old motorcycle driver was rushed to an Ottawa hospital by ORGN Air Ambulance officials. He suffered severe, life-threatening injuries. The car driver was uninjured.
After an investigation, police have charged Heather Lee with careless driving. No further details were released by police.
