Firefighters had to free a person from a vehicle that had struck a hydro pole and rolled over in the city’s east end Sunday.
They say they were called to Ste. Cécile Street, just west of Richelieu Park, at 4:23 p.m. They found the vehicle resting on its side with the occupant trapped.
The vehicle was an Audi Q3 SUV with a large sunroof, so firefighters were able to pull the person out. They were extricated after 23 minutes and handed over to paramedics.
Their injuries were minor.
