Five people are at least temporarily displace following a fire Tuesday morning at 919 Greenbriar Ave. in Carleton Heights area.
Firefighters were called at about 11:15 a.m. for a fire on the second floor of the semi-detached structure near Meadowlands Drive east and Prince of Wales Drive.
Responders confirmed a working fire, and launched a “fast attack” which brought the blaze under control quickly.
Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras to ensure fire did not spread to the attic, roof or neighbouring walls to the adjacent unit.
First reports indicated one person may have been injured.
