A head-on collision around 12:30 p.m. sent two people to hospital EWednesday afternoon, one of them with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the two cars crashed on Greenbank Road near Sir Robert Borden High School.
Emergency crews attended to a woman in her 50s suffering from serious but not life-threatening injuries. The driver of the second car sustained minor injuries. Both were taken to hospital.
A police investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing but investigators are looking into whether a medical issue may have contributed to the crash.
