An investigation continues Saturday into a multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on Highway 7 between Highway 15 and Napoleon Street in Carleton Place that left three people injured, one of them seriously.
Provincial police said Saturday the crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. and involved five cars and three motorcycles.
Two of the injured were treated at the scene. The third was hospitalized with serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The provincial Ornge medevac helicopter was called to the scene but was not used to transport the injured.
The road was closed for about eight hours, opening at about 1 a.m. Saturday.
