Injuries were thankfully minor after a 7:23 a.m. crash at the intersection of Fallowfield and Eagleson roads that rolled both vehicles into the ditch and had the fire department warning motorists to avoid the area.

Minutes later, fire crews were on their way to a crash at Boundary and Indcum roads and reminding commuters to slow down and move over for emergency vehicles.

Busy back-to-school traffic had emergency services hopping and warning drivers to watch for kids and school buses. Meanwhile, #otttraffic was trending on Twitter.

City police warned that traffic officers were out in full force watching for infractions like illegally passing a stopped school bus, which nets a fine of up to $2,000 and six demerit points.

OC Transpo was also reminding passengers that a new fall schedule is in effect.
