A 23-year-old civilian employee of the Sûreté du Québec in Gatineau has been charged with sexual assaults against three different people in the period from February through July.
The SQ says Gabriel Raymond has been relieved of his duties.
However the SQ won’t say anything about a report published in Le Droit that some of the alleged sex assaults happened inside the Gatineau 9-1-1 centre.
As well, they aren’t commenting on a report that Raymond is the son of a former commander of the SQ in West Quebec, who is now retired.
Court documents show the three unidentified complainants are 23, 27 and 34 years old, and that the allegations cover one night in May in one case, a two-week period in June in a second case, and from February to July in the third.
Raymond is also charged with one count of simple assault against a fourth person.
A Gatineau police spokesman said it’s an SQ case and Gatineau police won’t comment.
