Motorists were forced to find other routes Friday morning after a large tree was apparently pulled down by a passing truck on Laurier Avenue.
The incident occurred at about 8:15 a.m. when a moving truck on Laurier appeared to snag the large tree in the park near Bronson Avenue.
Traffic in both directions was redirected while city crews worked to clear the scene.
There were no injuries.
