If you don’t have a driver’s licence, the fast lane of Highway 401 at high noon is probably the wrong place to call attention to yourself.
Ontario Provincial Police officers stopped a 30-year-old Toronto woman Thursday for driving 57 km/h over the limit on Highway 401 in the Thousand Islands area, a 100-km/h zone.
She had no driver’s licence, and faces one charge for that and another for a speed that is classed as stunt driving.
She wouldn’t have been able to drive home even with a valid licence. Police impounded her car for a week.
She’ll appear in Brockville court at a later date.
