The joint was buzzing at the Central Experimental Farm on Saturday as kids of all ages got an up-close look at the world of insects in the annual Bug Day.
Bug experts from the Entomological Society of Ontario were on hand to help with everything from guided insect expeditions to explanations on how “good bugs” were used to control “bad bugs.”
For the more scientifically minded, participants had looks at micro insects under a microscope as well as the diverse world of aquatic insects.
