Ottawa police are asking the public for information about a shooting on Murray Street in the ByWard Market.
Police responded to several calls from people who reported they heard shots fired in the 200 block of Murray Street on Monday at 2:30 a.m.
They found shell casings in the area, but no victims or suspects.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa Police Guns & Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5050.
Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa Police app.
