Police are seeking public assistance to locate Julia Whitney, 28, of Ottawa, who has been missing since Aug. 22.
Her family is concerned for her safety., police say.
Whitney is described as Caucasian, with a light complexion, anout five-feet-four0inches (163 cm) tall, weighing 120 pounds with a slender build. She has yellow hair cut in mullet, with sides dyed black.
She has a barbell-type piercing in her lower lip. The left side of her nose is also pierced.
She was last seen in the Daly Avenue area.
Anyone who knows where Whitney is now should call police dispatch at 613-230-6211.
Anyone who has other information, but doesn’t know where the woman is, is asked to call 613-236-1222, ext. 2355. Anonymous tips can be made to to Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa police app.
