A man was shot dead on Caldwell Avenue, in the Carlington neighbourhood, on Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting happened at 3:22 p.m., said Ottawa paramedics, who attempted “aggressive resuscitation” on the man before taking him to hospital.
The killing was Ottawa’s 12th homicide of the year.
