Two people had to be treated for smoke inhalation and three people were forced from their homes because of a Centretown fire on Albert Street.
The fire broke out in the second floor of a townhouse at 710 Albert, near Booth Street, a little before 6 p.m. Saturday. Black smoke was visible outside, prompting several 911 calls.
An Ottawa Fire investigator was at the scene to assess the damage and investigate the possible source of the fire.
