Ottawa Police say a body found on the O-Train tracks Sunday morning is not considered to be a suspicious death.

Early Sunday, they set out yellow tape around three sites: the tracks themselves; both the front and rear of the Hintonburg Community Centre; and around the Somerset Street bridge over the O-Train tracks, about seven blocks away.

Details of what was being investigated at the community centre were unknown, but area residents said there were blood stains in front of the building. Officers were also pacing slowly along the sidewalk Sunday morning and a grassy strip at the back of of the centre, looking carefully at the ground.

The O-Train Trillium Line was not running Sunday morning, and passengers were being asked to take the Route 107 bus instead. Details are available on the main page of the OC Transpo website.

More to come …

The HCC is also closed off by police. Will wait for information to be released by police in due course. pic.twitter.com/hXb59JugO9
