Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was hit by a transport truck in the town of Casselman early Friday morning.
According to police, the pedestrian was struck on Principale Street between Racine Street and Lafleche Boulevard around 10:30 am.
Casselman is about 60 kilometres east of Ottawa.
Police were not releasing details about the victim Friday afternoon.
Police closed Principale Street between Highway 417 and St. Isidore Road in order to better examine how the accident happened.
