Paramedics stepped in to deliver a baby, after they received a call about a woman in labour early Saturday morning.
On their way to hospital by ambulance from the Alta Vista and Pleasant Park area, paramedics delivered the baby girl on the Bronson Avenue bridge near Carleton University.
The baby arrived at 1:06 a.m.
Mother and baby are reported to be doing well.
